When I wanted to start a membership site and offer personal coaching to teachers, bloggers and job seekers, I reviewed a number of membership site software. Some I could not afford, the price was too high; some were too complicated and I did not want to spend a lot of time learning how to use the membership software rather than spending time adding good content for my members; some did not have all the features I wanted in a membership software.
When I Googled membership software I always found Easy Member Pro within the first three ranks. But I did not select it just because it was on top for this keyword. I compared it with many others and decided that it was the right fit for my needs.
What do we really want in a membership software?
1. The script should be easy to set up.
I really do not want to spend hours learning how to set up the site after I pay for the software. I have worked with someone on blog designing. He set up a membership site, the software cost thousands of dollars and he had to pay more to someone to help him set it up.
Easy Member Pro comes with a manual and step-by-step videos. All the various sections are easily labelled and properly arranged that most often I did not have to watch the videos or read the manual. I could also customize the site within minutes.
2. The membership site software should have a good content management system that is secure.
Naturally I was looking for a software where adding content was as easy as posting on a blog and as secure as an encrypted file. I know the internet thieves who can steal content and escape payment. Increased security in many cases turn the membership software into a nightmare for the owner who has to fill it up with months of content.
Easy Member Pro allows me to add content easily and whatever I post is secure and available only to my customers. I have a number of free sign ups without the necessary details, that tell me they are trying to steal my precious content, but they have not been successful. They have left disheartened.
3. The membership software should automate as many of the tasks as possible.
When I start a membership site and that too a personal coaching one-on-one training type of membership, I want to focus all my energy on understanding what my customers want, preparing the necessary coaching materials for them and interacting with them. I do not want to be troubled by the number of things I need to do to manage the membership site.
Easy Member Pro automates everything. It automates tasks for the owner, for the customer, and for the affiliates. The admin panel allows me to do everything including sending mass email to prospective customers who have joined as free members.
4. The Membership Software should be affordable but professional with good features.
Most of the time I look at the price of something and feel I cannot afford that. But at the same time I do not want to use a cheap product that lacks the features that are required to keep the customers happy. Customers will not be impressed by a membership site that doesn’t appear professional and is not easy to use.
Easy Member Pro is very reasonably priced and has the features of other software that are sold for thousands of dollars. I have worked with internet marketers who were using other membership software and I know from personal experience that Easy Member Pro offers me great features at a very low rate compared to similar software. And to think it is just a one time payment for use on unlimited domains.
5. The membership software should motivate me to start a membership site right away!
I know many of my friends want to start a membership site but they are either too scared of the technical aspects of maintaining a membership site or find the price too high. Now I am sure they can start right away. Easy Member Pro will make life easy for them.
