‘Authority Site Center’ - A Review & Some Reservations

I am not completely convinced about ‘Authority Site Center’ but the minus points are far too few compared to the plus points.
Here is my review of Authority Site Center:
If you don’t know what an ‘authority site’ is and what I am talking about it is right time you downloaded the free Authority Black Book.
Jack Humphrey’s Authority Site Center has about 200 videos - all of excellent quality and superb content.
Right from Marketing Research to Monetization of Blogs, CPanel Videos to WordPress Optimization - everything is covered.
I have been using WordPress for quite a while now and I know a little bit about Market Research and monetization of blogs. But I have never seen such a thorough knowledge base in one place.
One-Stop Learning Center
It is really a one-stop learning center that can take an absolute newbie (smart working newbie who is willing to put in the required effort) and turn the person into an authority not only in the topic of the chosen niche but also blogging for monetization.
The case studies and the sites that have been created by members prove the success of the intensive course taught. More videos are being added and more training materials are continuously added in a variety of forms, PDFs, audios, videos and webinars.
Get Started, Get Going
The most important part is the newbie orientation webinar which are untiringly conducted twice a week to introduce each and every member to the various resources available on the site.
Sam Clark is a webinar expert. You should listen to him to believe the energy he exudes that is contagious.
After the orientation new members are taken through the ‘16 Steps to Success’ program to create their site and then the superb 60-day marketing plan.
Sites created by members get expert evaluation and peer feedback and at whatever step problems are faced, solutions are suggested. The forum is a buzzing place with thousands of posts by members. The help desk is really prompt in responding to queries.
Members get a WordPress blog created for them with a unique header graphic designed by in-house designers. Software are created to promote blogs and given to members free of cost. Special Plugins are created for ‘Authority Site Center’ WordPress blogs.
But… Here Comes My Reservation
Having said all these I have a reservation about Authority Site Center. The membership fee is $97 and the site will be in ASC server. Whenever I decide to discontinue with the membership I will get my blog back but I will have to shift everything to my server. I will not be able to use the software unless I pay for them. I will not be able to use their plugins.
So to use the facilities and avoid the nuisance of shifting my site I will have to continue the membership even after I become an expert and have learned a lot about creating an authority site.
So what makes Authority Site Center membership worth the price?
The elite group of members at the Authority Site Center who participate in forum discussions and help each other, the JV opportunities, the software that will be created in future keeping in mind the changing reality of the virtual world and the growing knowledge treasure resulting from the experiences of everyone involved in improving visitor experience…
Updates
The latest update is that you need not host the websites in ASC. You can use your own webhost if you prefer it that way. The WordPress and the special header will be created for you even if you want to host your blog on your own webserver. More software will be made available to members that will help them get more back links, more traffic and make it easy for them to manage their blogs.
If you don’t know what an ‘authority site’ is and what I am talking about it is right time you downloaded the free Authority Black Book.
