I am a great lover of WordPress blogs. I have tried Niche Empire Generator, Web2.0 Wealth and Atomic Blogging and Rapid Niche Websites. I love them all.
But there have been times when my blogs were hacked or my webhost shut me off because of spam attacks. At these times I have found XSitePro the best software I can ever have. I have all my files saved offline and with just a click of a button I can get everything up again.
I prefer to create a website with XSitePro and attach a WordPress blog to it and benefit from the web2.0 features.
The only problem I face with XSitePro is that it creates static websites and I cannot have my RSS feeds.
As a newbie when I started online I would not have created so many websites but for the super easy features of XSitePro that helped me design and publish sites in minutes with no knowledge of html/java scripts, provided me with the facility to add Google AdSense in any form I want and helped me ananlyze how well my site was optimized without any knowledge of SEO.
Now I have learnt a lot but still think there is nothing like XSitePro out there.
Watch a video and you will surely agree with me.

Yes I love WordPress and have lots of blogs. But I have many sites that I do not want to update everyday. XsitePro is wonderful for saving my data. Once I lost many of my blogs but my sites were safe. All I needed to do was to upload the sites again as the entire data was saved on my desktop. The new feautres of XSitePro includes social bookmarking, RSS, reminder to back up sites, replacing all affiliate links at one go and many more. These make XSitePro much better than many other website building software.

I agree with Tom. Wordpress is a one-stop-shop when it comes to quickly and easily managing the content and layout of a website.

Wordpress is the best content managemen system. I have some websites running in wordress platform. I have never used Xsite Pro. So cannot really comment on that. But wordpress is worth a try for a newbie.
